Can you buy Steri-Strips at pharmacy?
Steri-Strips are thin adhesive bandages often used by surgeons as a backup to dissolvable stitches or after regular stitches are removed. They’re also available for purchase in local pharmacies for self-care.
How long do Steri-Strips stay on?
The Steri-Strips will fall off on their own within two weeks. After two weeks, gently remove any remaining Steri-Strips. If the strips start to curl before it’s time to remove them, you can trim them.

To remove steri-strips you need to soak them in water, this can be done in a bath without bubbles. Once the steri-strips are wet the adhesive will come unstuck. If the steri-strips do not fall off by themselves, gently pull them to remove them. Do not get your steri-strips wet (until they are due to come off).
Is it bad to leave Steri-Strips on too long?
The steri-strips should not stay on more than 14 days. If they haven’t fallen off by day 14, you should remove them yourself.
