The Swallows and Amazons series is enjoyable for about age 8-9 and up. We read them when my kids were teens and really enjoyed them. We find them to be the type of book that is enjoyed by all ages. In fact, my 20 year old son has been re-reading the entire series lately.

Does Swallowdale exist?
